Coaching

What can a coach do for you?

"In each of us, we hold the power to facilitate the change we want to see.  My role is to help you find that power."

A professional coach helps people move forward and set personal and professional goals that will give them the life they really want.

Who uses a life coach?

Most coaching clients are healthy, successful people who may have a feeling of being "stuck" or simply want to make a change in their lives and want the support of their own personal coach to do so.  My clients see themselves as having goals and dreams, but, for whatever reason, are struggling to overcome the obstacles that are standing in their way.

Additional Information

Neurolinguistic programming is a way of communicating, created in the 1970s. It is often shortened to NLP. The discipline assumes there is a link between neurological processes, language and behavior. According to NLP, it is possible to achieve certain goals in life by changing one's behaviour.

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a name that encompasses the three most influential components involved in producing human experience: neurology, language and programming. The neurological system regulates how our bodies function, language determines how we interface and communicate with other people and our programming determines the kinds of models of the world we create. Neuro-Linguistic Programming describes the fundamental dynamics between mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behavior (programming).

Neuro-Linguistic Programming: "a model of interpersonal communication chiefly concerned with the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the subjective experiences (esp. patterns of thought) underlying them" and "a system of alternative therapy based on this which seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication, and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour."
